Position: Programme Administrator
Location: Dublin office
Reports to: Director of Student Experience
Contract: One year fixed
Job Purpose: The role of the Programme Administrator, Office of Academic Affairs is to facilitate the successful running of the student experience on the Masters programmes (including certificate and modular students), the Undergraduate suite of programmes and to provide administrative support within the programme administration team for all programmes.
Responsibilities:
Registration
• Assists with the preparation of and registration at induction sessions
• Assist admissions team with retrieving late registration documentation
Programme Administration
• Ensure students are well supported throughout the programme
• First point of call for non-academic student queries
• Communicate regularly with students and ensure students have clear guidelines and instruction through the lifecycle of the programme
• Work closely with the Programme Manager, Director of Student Experience and Programme Director to ensure the smooth and successful running of the programme/s
• Provide administrative support in the coordination of the programme
• Assist in the organisation of onsite and online tutorials and modules – coordinating tutors and venues
• Prepare attendance sheets and monitor online and onsite attendance
• Keep accurate student records
Programme Administration Team
• Assist the Programme Administration team in the organization and coordination of Teaching Practice blocks and Gaeltacht courses
• Assist in the booking of onsite venues for all programmes (covering some tasks of Resources Manager while on maternity leave)
• Performs any other reasonable duty associated to the role assigned
